Over the top Easter Basket

Here is the final 3D swap item (well, at least the last one I got good pictures of) from our Dirty Bunny swap with my local demonstrator friends a couple weeks ago.  I think I have really saved the best for last – the level of detail on this one is pretty incredible.  A fabulous basket (complete with eggs) created by Dominique Cavanaugh:

I just love the banner across the top (can you see the embossed stripes?) and the eggs are fantastic.  Ribbons, designer series paper, even stamping directly on eggs!  Here are a few close ups of the eggs, maybe they will inspire you to create some of your own to decorate for Easter this year!

Here is another fabulous 3D project from our Dirty Bunny swap earlier this month.  Check out this adorable purse made by Allison Nolan!  She used the beautiful Everyday Enchantment DSP from the Sale-a-Bration catalog along with Pool Party and Calypso Coral cardstock, and finished it off with beautiful Calypso Coral ruffled ribbon and In Color brads for hardware.  It is so pretty (I was a little jealous of the person who got to go home with this one!)

I took these pictures at the dinner table in the restaurant so I didn’t get as detailed photos as I would like but you should know that Allison also made a whole bunch of cards in coordinating colors that fit right inside this purse AND included a pen!  So cute, this would make a great gift for someone.

Mixed Bunch Basket

I am still showing 3D projects from the fun swap I had with our local group of demonstrators earlier this month.  This is a fabulous little candy basket from Kim Parker made using the Mixed Bunch stamp set and coordinating Blossom punch from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

I love the handle made using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and the cute little 1/8″ taffeta ribbon bows!  The basket is made using six blossoms (plus one in the center on the bottom to anchor it all together):

And of course Kim included candy for the lucky recipient – what Easter basket would be complete without something sweet?

Here is another item from the 3D swap I did with our local group of demonstrators earlier this month.  I showed you one of Judy’s fabulous punch art bunnies yesterday…here is another one!  Judy made one of these baskets (filled with chocolate, even!) for each demonstrator in our group – isn’t that amazing?  She is so sweet, I know that was a lot of work.  I just love my basket.  She made them in a variety of spring colors, I got a cheery yellow one.

Here is a view without the tulle wrapped around it:

She even decorated the back!

Our group of demonstrators includes the sweetest ladies and we have so much fun when we get together – I’d love to have you join us as well!  There is only about a week and a half left in Sale-a-Bration to get the $50 discount on the Starter Kit when you sign up to be a demonstrator!  If you have ANY questions please let me know, I would be happy to answer them (and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have AFTER you sign up to be a demonstrator, too – I’m here to support you whether you just want to be a hobby demonstrator or whether you want to build a business!)  You can learn more and sign up online HERE

Happy Easter Box

Here is another of the wonderful 3D projects from our “Dirty Bunny” swap last week.  This box was made by Judy Swindell who always has amazing details on her projects.  Look at her fabulous punch art with all that sponging – the bunny looks like he has real fur!

This project is really similar to the Valentine Countdown Calendar that we made earlier this year, just a different number of little doors. Each numbered door opens to reveal a compartment that is perfectly sized for a small piece of chocolate – yum!

Judy certainly used a LOT of products and tools to create this project.  I definitely see Framelits Labels, the Petal Card punch, lots of oval punches, and the Square Lattice embossing folder, plus a LOT more.  I am sure she used her Simply Scored tool as well.  What a beautiful box!

Hope everyone is wearing green today and doesn’t get pinched!

Here is a tasty St. Patrick’s Day treat I made for my kids using Stampin’ Up!’s Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps.  The new cookie stamp set in the Occasions Mini catalog has shamrocks, a bunny that will be perfect for Easter, and a cute flower that works for just about any occasion.  I used the sugar cookie recipe that is included with the cookie stamps and just added a little green food coloring to the dough to make them extra festive.  🙂

More Dirty Bunny gifts

Here is another of our Dirty Bunny 3D swap creations – this one was made by my fabulous downline, Caren Hosmer!  I love the way she turned punch art into holiday decor.  I was lucky enough to go home with this item after our swap, this cute little guy has been hanging from my dining room chandelier for the last week and my kids just love seeing him up there.

Materials:

  • Stamp Set:  Teeny Tiny Wishes (Happy Easter)
  • Ink:  I’m going to guess Blushing Bride?  Caren, help me out!
  • Cardstock:  Old Olive Patterns DSP, Non-SU cardstock
  • Tools and Accessories:  2 1/2″ circle punch, Word Window punch, Large Oval punch, Modern Label punch, Owl Builder punch (for eyes and nose), 1 3/8″ circle punch, Basic Jewels Pearls, Crochet Trim Ribbon

I love that the whole thing is made with cardstock – the only ribbon is that crochet trim and the bunny’s cute little bow tie.  Way to go, Caren!
